The simian-like Ongidae have only existed within Star Wars for a few years, but have made a fairly unique impact, being one of the few non-Human species accepted into the Galactic Empire in Canon!
Poldt
While they may look like the Geonosians, the Poldt are... or were their own distinct species, surprisingly based on the early concept art for the Neimoidians of all species.
Geranite
One of the most obscure aliens species to appear in Return of the Jedi, the Geran or Geranites have appeared in a handful of media since, but remain largely an enigma that warrants further exploration.
Boltrunian
The Boltrunians were grizzly species with an appearance to match their often unbridled rage, although said appearance could vary vastly from illustration to illustration during the early days of Star Wars Legends.
Urodel
This armored salamander-like species has appeared a handful of times across multiple eras, but their distinctive appearance always makes them easy enough to spot.
Xot
From what we know, the Xot were a scraggly little species not necessarily known for their wealth or cleanliness, but they... make up for that (more or less) with their “macrobinocular-shaped” heads.
Phindian
The Phindians are the poster child for the wholesome “scary creature that’s actually misunderstood and very sweet” trope, but with a few twists that we should all appreciate!
Alzarian
One of the most tragic species in Star Wars Legends, with their debut in Canon via the High Republic comes the chance for even more tragedy or a much more uplifting outcome this time around.
Mythrol
The amphibious Mythrol were known for their intense musky excretions, as well as their 3-stage fledgling life cycle that, via molting, drastically changed their appearance over the course of their life.
Hoopaloo
All you really need to know about the Hoopaloo is that they were a race of large, talking parrot people and yes, they are 100% Canon.
