Coloration: Pink

Biology: The Mordageen were a humanoid species possessing a few discernable traits. They stood marginally shorter than the average human, with the tallest adult males maxing out at 1.7 – 1.8 meters in height. They have thick limbs, with bright pink, often wrinkled skin. They also had large, four-fingered hands with stalky fingers. They had tall heads with a flat face and nose. Their lips were wide, as was their forehead. Their sclera was solid black as opposed to most species’ being white, and their cornea was often a bright yellow. They had long pointed ears that curved outwards. And their hair (both cranial and facial) has only been observed as being a light blond color.

Lore: Next to nothing is known about the Mordageen as a collective species/society. We know they were spread out throughout the greater galaxy, however, we do know that their homeworld of Mordagon was located in the Expansion Region and under Galactic Republic jurisdiction prior to the Clone Wars.

Legends/Canon: The Mordageen have only appeared once, and are relegated to Star Wars Legends.

Unexplored: This is one of those species that is sort of a blank slate. Are they a species of criminals and thieves like the instance we’ve seen, or are they generally a peaceful and kind species simply possessing deviants? Do most of them live on their homeworld, with a powerful government, militia, and industrial influence? Have most of them since left due to inhabitability and spread out to every corner of the known galaxy? Or are they maybe an integral part of the Republic that have heavy political influence and representatives on most Republic controlled worlds? It’s things like these that can be explored to make a species a lot more interesting.

Additional Notes: The Mordageen have a somewhat unique design I can appreciate, but nothing much to go off of yet. I think they could definitely make for some sleazy looking criminals, but as it stands, I’m not dying for them to be Canonized anytime soon. Still, they would definitely be fun to include in your next fan work, should you need someone that fits this general description.
