A long-standing Star Wars species with a vivid history of servitude, scavenging, rebellion, and acclimating to galactic societal norms.
Ru
The Ru were often mistakenly considered non-sentient rodents, but were in fact the lesser known sentient inhabitants of Phorose who were almost overlooked during the Clone Wars.
Banchiian
These centaur-birds are native to the Jedi world of Banchii, and are an incredibly fun addition to Star Wars Canon and the mythos in general!
Gamandar
The Gamandar were a one-off species from the early days of the Star Wars EU, and while not much thought was really put into their overall design, they still served as a reminder of just how evil the tyrannical Galactic Empire really was.
Gallusian
At first glance, the Gallusians may not look like much, let along sentient, but don’t let their appearances fool you as they are a rather advanced species who were both considered intelligent and... attractive?
Zylurian
We’ve only ever seen the Zylurians in Legends post-mortem, and even then they’ve always been covered with the wounds caused by “Ubuugan Fleshborers,” so we can only hope to see a healthy, living Zylurian in the flesh in some sort of upcoming piece of Canon media!
Godoan
The Godoans were most notable for their fiercely religious devotion to a mysterious machine found on their homeworld, with said machine protecting the Godo from a super virus, housing valuable, anomalous relics, and serving as a holy place of worship.
Thisspiasian
The Thisspiasians were one of the most fleshed out sentient Serpentine species in the Star Wars universe, with a rather rich history and unique customs, traditions, and practices explored in-depth in Star Wars Legends.
Zuzabol
A little known creature with an interesting real life story, the Zuzabol are a mystery just waiting to be unraveled, unless said mystery is simply part of their charm!
Tocoyan
The Tocoyans were insanely close to appearing in Return of the Jedi, but sadly are instead relegated to the void that is obscure Star Wars Legends media.
