The Iakaru are one of the many alien species to be affected by the Empire, and one of the few who chose to fight back. These Simians places their life on the line to prevent other worlds from suffering the same fate as their own.
Trogodile
The Trogodile were actually one of the most explored species to come out of the 2003 Clone Wars cartoon, even appearing in another side comic at one point.
Swokes Swokes
My personal favorite alien in the Star Wars universe, the Swokes Swokes are surprisingly unique, interesting, and epic denizens of the galaxy far, far away.
Q’Itane
Not much is known about this near-human species, however, their inclusion in Canon may lead to further revelations later on down the line.
Ximpi
The fairy-like Ximpi are a relatively new species, being explored in a few Dr. Aphra/Poe Dameron comics, as well as some recent High Republic material.
Karkarodon
Named after the great white shark itself, the Karkarodon and their company, Hydroid Medusa, were an instrumental part of the Seperatist movement during the Clone Wars.
Dowutin
The Dowutin are an old and powerful people, born as survivors into a galaxy that they watch slowly change around them. While they lack familial connections, this self-sufficient species proves that you can truly conquer the galaxy on your own.
Bitthævrian
The Bitthævrian have some very interesting lore and interactions with both the Galactic Republic and the Kaleesh, predating even the Clone Wars. While secluded to Legends, their story is still very unique.
Anzellan
The Anzellans first appeared in The Rise of Skywalker, making a fantastic initial impression. While little is known about the species, it is still a fan favorite among the Disney era! Hey hey!
