Biology: The Skeebo were a near-Human species first found on the planet of the same name. They were nearly completely identical to humans aside from two distinctive features: wide, pointed ears and a colorful assortment of cheek spots. These circles varied in pattern, size, and coloration (red, brown, orange, etc.) extending from under their cheek bone all the way down to their chin. Aside from this, they presumably had the same general height, lifespan, pigmentations, hair placement, and internal biology as the average Human.

Lore: The Skeebo was an incredibly wealthy species from a luxurious planet. They held influence in their local sector as well as seemingly the entire Shadola Sector. Not much is known about their society, culture, and economy, however, they did have a tourism industry as their homeworld was known as the “Jewel of the Five Systems.” The scenic desert landscape was dotted with ancient monuments, spires, pyramids, temples, and other ancient relics.

Legends/Canon: The Skeebo, if they’re even actually called that, have been around in Star Wars quite some time, but have not been made Canon (alongside their homeworld or anything else named “Skeebo”).

Unexplored: There is so much here that is completely left open. The first thing to establish would definitely be their history and origins. Were they originally Humans who migrated to Skeebo long ago, or did they evolve there and just happened to be similar to Humans, like so many other near-human species? Could they breed with Humans, and were they found anywhere else in the galaxy? If they weren’t the original species on Skeebo, who left all of the ancient relics, what were their purposes, and where did that species go?

Next we need to establish their society, traditions, and possible homeworld economical structure. Where did they gain their wealth, and do they have any major exports? Why did their planet earn the title of “Jewel of the Five Systems,” were there any points of particular interest or maybe religious sites, and how profitable was the tourism industry? Were the Skeebo a religious people, or did they simply worship their wealth? How did their government work, and was it a single, planetary government or split into different regions/countries? Finally, were they involved with galactic politics, and who would they be allied with in eras like the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War? Answering these questions will help establish the Skeebo should they ever be canonized, or at the very least, if you decide to include them in your fan writing that takes place within the Canon timeline.

Additional Notes: So when I first wrote this article I was sure that “Skeebo” was 100% confirmed to be this species name, however, I am now coming up blank on where my source for that was (although it appears there was a now-deleted Skeebo species Wookieepedia page up for a while as well). Practically everything on Skeebo also seems to be named “Skeebo,” however, I am now struggling to decide whether or not to scrap this article entirely. In the meantime, I am also adding Kaptain Voor, the man featured in the included images, as belonging to an unidentified species as well, which is why you may see him among the Twitter/X series! If this article ever vanishes, you know the reason why, as I’m definitely not big on pushing blatant misinformation (but I do often roll with confident assumptions or leaked but not confirmed names for things).
